Our Team
This venture was conceived from the wish to share the transformative powers of the horse to improve personal and professional relationships in all fields and help us all fulfill our true potential, at all levels of a company or group to maximize its efficiency.
Juan
Ira
Juan Vendrell is a distinguished horseman who originally was a lawyer and a businessman in his native country of Spain. He splits his time between his ranch in Texas, where he trains horses and people from all over the world, and periods of instruction in Europe and South America. Juan specializes in training young horses and problem horses and helps people to overcome their fears and other issues. He has vast experience with students of all ages, levels and backgrounds. In 2011 he was the first European trainer ever at the Supreme Extreme Mustang Makeover, a challenge where a wild horse has to be tamed and shown within four months. In 2013 and 2014 he was one of only twenty trainers worldwide to be invited to the Horsemen’s Re-Union in California. He has also been a presenter at some of the biggest equestrian events worldwide, such as Equitana in Germany or Global Equus International in Brazil, and a judge at the Mustang Makeover Germany. He has published books about Horsemanship in Spanish and German. He has been featured in the media in the US, South America and in Europe and has authored articles for different magazines. Currently he keeps collaborating with different universities, such as the University of Vic (UVic) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in Spain. Juan also collaborates with True Blue Animal Rescue of Brenham, TX in the rehabilitation of rescue horses.
Juan manages his equine business together with his wife Ira, who is originally from Germany. She also assists Juan in the horse training and courses. Ira started riding in Germany at the age of six and has been eager ever since to learn more about horse behavior and training. She has had the opportunity to learn with breeders and trainers in Germany, Spain, Idaho and Texas. She participated in the Supreme Extreme Mustang Makeover in 2012 and continues to take part in a few small horse shows and clinics to further her knowledge. Apart from her horse skills, Ira brings her linguistic skills to this project. She speaks four languages fluently and has basic knowledge in several more. She has a degree in linguistics and certificates in Equine Psychology & Behavior and Equine Assisted Therapy and she has several years of experience in language teaching. She has written articles for German magazines and has translated Juan’s book to German.
